Nowhere to run...

Question

I certainly noticed that I am a little afraid sending this email as I am certain that my Mommy has access to my thoughts. My questions is, given the fact that you advise men to stake out a garage or shop or den to call their own and provide a sanctuary for themselves, what happens when these areas are overtaken by Mommy?

For example, I cleaned out one of the unused bedrooms for an office and the garage for a workspace. Every time I clean one of those areas out, Mommy fills them with other extraneous stuff so that the area is filled, unusable, and I won't go in there. How can I stop this? If I just put locks on the doors, I will be chastised until I remove them.

What Happened?

Keith,

First, your Mommy has no access to your thoughts- they just think faster than most guys. The whole ESP thing is a marketing ploy by Mommies to keep you spooked.

As for sanctuary, we heard of a guy who found great success in photography. He took it up as a hobby and now has a full-blown dark room in his house. When the door is shut Mommy cannot enter since she may “overexpose” his developing photos.

Grab a room, a red light bulb, a mini-fridge and a camera and get to work!
