I have a girlfriend that is sadly, turning into a "Mommy". She usually nags me on specific assignments that she gives me, she always wants me to assist in her projects that would not involve me otherwise, and what is worse, this woman wants to marry me! I can tolerate much of her behavior for a while since I have the option of 'walking away' when things get too heavy. But I if do marry her, I can't just up and leave! Well, I could do that, but it will be a death wish for me if I even tried to do that!
How can I tell get to back off without sounding like I'm emotionally abusing her! Remember, if a woman yells at a man, it means that the woman is just getting thing in control. If a man yells at a woman, that means that he is abusing her and should be called to the authorities! Women has friends that support her no matter who does what to whom. Men, on the other hand, have no support since they are dogs!!
