HER wedding anniversary is coming up in about a week. She told me what she wanted for her gift yesterday, but I wasn't listening or I forgot, or something. What do I do? Help!
Our mental powers are substantial but we're not mind readers.
Here's your options:
1. Admit you weren't paying attention and re-ask the question with a humble apology.
2. Buy her something outrageously expensive and hope she takes it back. Also a dozen long stems won't hurt. A gamble, but worth the risk?
3. Run. And don't turn back.
