Three's a crowd?

From: Tom in Boston

Question

I have a friend that I've known for years. He definitely is saddled with a Tsunami Mommy. Ever since they got married (about half a year ago) she has been trying to cut him off from the friends that he had before they met (myself included). Her latest stunt includes the proposition of her best friend moving in with them because Mommy can't handle being away from her friend. What happened?

Comments

Smart Tsunamis know that if they separate hubby from his herd of beer drinking swine they will minimize the inappropriate influences the swine have on him. These influences usually don’t directly benefit the tidal flow of the Tsunami. Mommies like "couples" and will go to great lengths to cull out "singles".

This mommy, however has taken a step we’ve not witnessed before. Moving a “girlfriend” in will disrupt whatever balance of power, however imbalanced, that now exists in the relationship. If this becomes reality we suggest your friend invite one of his long lost herd to join in the commune. Two’s company, three’s a crowd, and four, well, four’s a party!
