Male Mall?

From: John in Tuscon

Question

Dear Professors,

Thanks for the tip in your amazingly great book on diverting precious pouch money.

The thought came to me that currently guys have to put in many miles driving around to spend our hard hoarded cash. Perhaps you would agree that it is high tiempo for the MALE MALL! No Nordstrom, j crew, pottery barn, or trapdoor WEDDING RINGs r US types of places in OUR mall.

The top fifty markets should be able to support it. There would be a few mandatory rules, of course:

1 No minivans allowed in parking lots. 2 Mommys must be kept leashed on Mondays, their only day to visit the male mall 3 Keep what you catch (at the male mall indoor trout pond) 4 Return gas go-kart shopping carts to designated areas 5 Open 24 hours 6 Tuesday through Sunday are designated as “tramp days” where only trampy girls are allowed 7 Closed Mondays

The male mall needs your advice on the different business ventures that will be used in the concept. Here is a partial list:

A choice of dirt track or paved road for the slalom course into the mall. Real hardware store with guys like Ernie or Jack running the place, fishing store, hobby shop, gun shop, tavern, brew pub, beer making shop, another gun shop, real food court (with hoops and basketballs) three hooters restuarants, exotic pet shop, magazine stand, bumper cars and boats, roller coaster (non-wimpy), slot-car center, classic car dealer, indoor lighted golf course, one hundred acres upland bird "shoot-o-rama" (just $1 per bird, with “loaner” dogs and 12 gauges), and, to top it all off... NO MOMMIES!

Juan (John),

Wow! You've been in the Trenches of Matrimony far too long.

You're either insane or a genius- that's always a fine distinction.

We, of course LOVE your idea and will steal it for a business to launch with the mega-bucks spinning out of the successful book Married To Mommy?- A Survival Guide For Married Guys.

Buy more books and give em to your friends, as a way to support your new idea!
