Re your response, while your playing the "devil's advocate" isn't unreasonable, in this case it's the "mommies"
who are slacking. We work in a pool and all do the same job, and our "mommy" peers spend too much time trying to control us (and everyone else they know) to do much actual work.

What you postulated does happen, of course, but in our case the formula is > mommy = < work.
