From: Dontwannamommy
I have been dating an amazing woman for the past 4 months and can see some of the "mommy habits" beginning to develop already. Right now, she's all about having fun, being spontaneous, doesn't wear panties, likes going out, sports, traveling, etc.
I want to know, how can I keep this butterfly from turning into a caterpillar?
What Will Happen?
Dear Don’t Wannamommy,
The Mommy Mechanism (Another MM) is deep rooted and difficult to weed. Most women will show these tendencies, even during what’s charmingly called courtship.
In many cases the closer you get to the gilded alter, the more hot water you seem to find yourself in. Mommies like to act as if it’s the BIG DAY that has them acting untoward to you. Sadly, that’s not the case.
Just as women should give up on changing men, so should you give up on thinking you can alter the inevitable.
The best any guy can hope for is to break even on the deal. Maybe you can break even on a daily basis with an equal amount of Mommy Moments to balance the sports, travel, and the proverbial “etc.”. Or perhaps (like the more unfortunate who’ve asked What Happened?) she’s already run clean out of the etc., and it’s all Moments from now on.
As always, whatever your situation, we stand at the ready to help you counteract the exhausting effects of Mommy.
Regards, The Professors Of Matrimony
