I took a peek at a Cosmo that my daughter had brought home. The title of the article..."Can You Make Love Happen" had a sub head that states "there may be times it's smart to give destiny a nudge". The low down is this- they are discussing and planning and writing about how to catch a man- and we are the prey.
Quotes: " A guy may have felt the connection but just didn't act on it because men are just not as decisive as when when it comes to this stuff". Note the inference of what a guy may have felt... "When he thinks your meeting is spontaneous, there's more room for him to get to know you on his terms". Note the word THINKS- above "For Georgie, a third orchestrated encounter with her now fiance did the charm" note the key word FIANCE- above
Meanwhile, guys are going about their business thinking that SHE just happened to be in the grocery store at the same time as he- or "Oh what a coincidence...I didn't know you did your dry cleaning here" she says...or "You live in this apartment building too?" she says... or "Who said anything about getting married?" he says Or in the true case of a gal friend of ours- she moved into her guys apartment without him knowing she had actually canceled her lease on her place and put all her stuff in storage. By the time he figured out what happened it had been about a month and she was all "settled in" with nowhere else to go!
