Ask the Professor Q&A
Location: Seattle Wa
Reporting: News Conference
December 18, 2003
Government figures announced this week show a dramatic increase in the average age of women giving birth. The average for 2002 is 25.1 compared to 21.4 in 1970, an astonishing 17% increase.
Presentation of these figures lead the Professors of Matrimony to weigh in on the subject.
"Women know instinctively that the Mommy Mindset is debilitating to their marriages. It seems they are trying to delay or thwart the mindset by postponing birth. What they are confused about is the origin of the malcontented mindset. While we do agree that children can in many cases trigger additional density of Mommy Moments, the genisis of the condition lays squarely in the relationship between the man and the Mommy. Proof of this comes from numerous instances of women taking on the "Mommy" role well before bearing a child" proclaimed a concerned Professor Bakeman in a news conference today.
"Yes, indeed. Our proof of this theory comes from the mahem rought by a multitude of Mommy Moments experienced by couples, even when dating" chimed Professor Krinbring. The Professors went on to request all couples take a hard look at themselves before affixing blame on infants.
