All you guys out there with a toe-tapping Mommy counting very single minute until you get home can now , over the next few weeks, take advantage of the Daylight Savings Bonus Period.
Here’s Why and How it works:
Mommy’s internal clock was set by the sun and the moon over the eons. She is much more attuned to outdoor light intensity than she is the hands of a clock.
Each year when you “spring ahead” all you are doing is setting the clocks arms ahead by one hour- What used to be 6PM is now 7PM. It usuaaly takes Mommy a few weeks for her internal ticker to synch up.
So, during the next few weeks you can grab a couple beers and show up around 7 instead of 6 and Mommy’ll be none the wiser. To test this theory show up at your usual 6pm and you’ll most likely hear Mommy praise you for being home “early”. Check it out for yourselves and enjoy this annual rite of spring!
