As I hunker down in my sandtrap foxhole for what looks like one of the longest battles known to this war of the sexes, I take solice that reason may prevail. I pray daily for reinforcements. Scanning the horizon with my camo covered binoculars, I've spied a heroin of mythic proportions. Could she stop the insanity?
Nancy Lopez, the most popular player in LPGA history thinks Tsunami Mommy Martha Burke is pitifully misguided in her assault on Augusta.
“Men built that club’” Lopez says. “To tell them they have to have a woman member is like telling someone they have to change the color of paint on their house” She continued her reaming of Mommy Burke by saying “There are far more important issues for women than being a member of Augusta National. I’m concerned about equal purses for men and women golfers and more TV time for the LPGA. But for women to have that, we’re going to have to prove we deserve it”
