In studying the Multitudes of Mommy Phenomenon (MMF) we’ve found ample evidence of Mommies everywhere: from the success of “No Nonsense” Pantyhose, to the existence of sport fishing (let’s face it, many guys get up at 0 dark-thirty to sit in the rain on a cold, backless aluminum seat simply to escape a Mommy).
It’s puzzling to note however, in interviewing countless women, not a single one confessed to being a Mommy, but nearly all of them personally knew a Mommy. And, since it is a bit depressing to admit, you have to pour a couple of drinks down a guy’s throat before he’ll cop to being Married to Mommy.
So as professors we are again presented with a challenge. How many Mommies are there out in this big wide world? And how to count their vast numbers?
